Learn more about GSM Auto-Dialers...
What is a GSM Auto-Dialer?
A GSM dialer moniters your alarm system activity; or if used as a stand-alone device, any kind of alarm sensors. When the alarm activates, it uses it's onboard SIM card to call or text message the User's mobile phone to notify them of the alarm activity. The User can reset the alarm from their mobile phone keypad and also store a time/date stamp by text message of the alarm event; very useful to review CCTV images.
Why is it better than a traditional land line based auto-dialer?
A GSM dialer is far cheaper than a landline based dialer. There are no monthly charges and you will only pay if the device sends you a text message. You can chose only to receive calls in which case, if you don't answer the call, there are no charges. SimEntry GSM dialers have a built in system to ensure your PAYG SIM card doesn't expire through limited usage. A GSM Dialer will operate even if the telephone line is cut as it uses the mobile phone network entirely and doesn't rely on the wired telephne network. Some SimEntry GSM Dialers will actually back up the existing telephone network in the case the wired phone lines are cut. The telephones will work as normal by using the mobile network to get a line.
Will it inform me if my intruder alarm activates?

Can a GSM Dialer Back up my phone system?
